Mps elect from Jatiya Party won‍‍`t take oath tomorrow: party official

The Jatiyo Party leaders who were elected as members of parliament in the January 7 election are unlikely to take the oath tomorrow, according to the party insiders. 

Mahmud Alam, joint office secretary of the JP said, "MPs-elect of our party will not take oath tomorrow. The party‍‍`s elected lawmakers will hold a meeting tomorrow to decide their course of action".

When asked, MP-elect Ruhul Amin Hawlader said that he had not received any message from party leaders regarding oath taking tomorrow.

JP Chairman GM Quader, Secretary General Mujibul Haque Chunnu, and Senior Co-chairman Anisul Islam Mahmud are all in their respective constituencies right now.

Yesterday, GM Quader and Anisul said that they would return to Dhaka on Wednesday or Thursday.

The oath-taking ceremony for those who were elected in the 12th parliamentary elections will take place tomorrow at the National Parliament at 10:00 a.m., according to parliament secretariat sources.
